Mt. Pleasant, SC – East Cooper Regional Medical Center, through the Tenet Healthcare Foundation, has awarded a $5,000.00 grant to East Cooper Community Outreach for support of their Med-I-Assist prescription drug assistance program. The grant was awarded on the merits of the program and community need.
“We are very pleased to assist in the support of this commendable service,” says Andrea Wozniak, Chief Executive Officer of East Cooper Regional Medical Center.
East Cooper Regional Medical Center has been assisting in funding the Med-I-Assist program since 2001. “These grants have made a substantial impact on the ability of this program to assist the needy in accessing prescription medicines that might otherwise be unaffordable,” says Rick Leary, Executive Director of East Cooper Community Outreach.
