| Mt. Pleasant, SC – Steve Woodford has been named Chief Financial Officer for East Cooper Regional Medical Center effective May 3, 2004. In his position as CFO, he will oversee all financial operations at the hospital.
Woodford has over 30 years experience as a healthcare executive. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to that role, Woodford worked for HCA from 1981-2001, initially as CFO at Trident Regional Medical Center. During his last 7 years with HCA he served as a division vice president and CFO.

Woodford holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
