“Perhaps nothing is more critical in health care today than the passion and quality of service provided by dedicated professionals like Andrea,” said Trevor Fetter, Tenet’s chief executive officer. “The Caregiver Award winner represents the best of who we are and what we do at Tenet. Andrea truly exemplifies the best of this spirit of extraordinary caregiving.”
Nagel is just one of four people inducted into this year’s Caregiver Hall of Fame and the only recipient from Tenet’s Central Northeast-Southern States Region. Caregiver award winners are nominated by their hospital’s chief executive officer. Winners are selected from dozens of nominees, based on both objective criteria such as extraordinary examples of patient care, devotion to service and technical skills, as well as comments from colleagues, patients and their families, and physicians.
