East Cooper Medical Center Launches ‘Path to Health’ Campaign to Drive Community Engagement and Enrollment in Health Insurance Exchanges
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – East Cooper Medical Center has launched “Path to Health,” a community education and outreach initiative, to raise awareness and understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Buying health insurance can be overwhelming. Through the ‘Path to Health’ program, East Cooper Medical Center is offering helpful resources to those needing to secure affordable healthcare coverage through the exchanges.

“We’re excited to bring the ‘Path to Health’ campaign to our area and partner with local organizations to educate the community on the health insurance exchanges,” said Jason Alexander, CEO of East Cooper Medical Center. “We have always been committed to delivering safe, quality care in the community we serve. As caregivers, ensuring that our community and our patients understand all of the coverage options available to them is an extension of that mission.”

The “Path to Health” campaign will work with community partners to offer educational materials and resources to help individuals navigate the insurance exchanges and the ACA.
