In 1986, Mt. Pleasant needed a hospital and East Cooper Regional Medical Center answered the call. We're proud that we've become part of the Mt. Pleasant community.

Now it's time for a new hospital.

The new 140-bed replacement hospital will be adjacent to our current facility in Mt. Pleasant.

It will be a larger, modern hospital that is comfortable for our patients, staff and visitors with the same quality health care that you've become accustomed to.

The new medical center will offer:

• All private patient rooms
• Expanded 24-hour emergency room
• Expanded women's services
• Neurosurgery services
• Cardiac diagnostic services
• And more
