MOUNT PLEASANT, SC -- Giving the gift of comfort, the local branch of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RVSP) presented East Cooper Medical Center with beautiful, handmade afghan blankets for patients. The blankets will be used by patients undergoing infusions in Pre-Admission Testing (PAT).

According to Kate Kiel, RN, PAT, "These afghans are not only beautiful, they are so comforting for our patients. Patients can actually feel the warmth, kindness and love that went into making these afghans."
