Sports injuries are quite common and affect all types of individuals--from youth to adult, male or female, highly trained, professional athletes to recreational or weekend warriors. These injuries may be acute (tears, fractures, sprains) or chronic (tendonitis, arthritis) and may require specialized medical care--otherwise known as sports medicine.

East Cooper Sports Medicine specializes in both traumatic injuries and chronic problems caused by overuse. Our team focuses on injury prevention to keep you performing at your best.
