Johnnie Dodds Boulevard Improvement Project
Due to the road improvement projects, beginning Friday, Jan. 21 at 9:30 a.m., East Cooper Medical Center will not be accessible from Bowman Road via Hospital Drive or Von Kolnitz Road.
Alternative routes to East Cooper Medical Center include the following:
From Downtown From Highway 17 (Johnnie Dodds Blvd) turn left onto Mathis Ferry Road, travel approximately 3 miles to the roundabout at Hospital Drive.
From areas North of Town of Isle of Palms Turn right onto Mathis Ferry Road from Highway 17 and proceed approximately 0.7 mile to the roundabout at Hospital Drive.
From North Charleston / I-526 Take I-526 to Highway 17 (Georgetown Exit), turn left onto Highway 17, proceed approximately 0.3 mile, then turn left onto Mathis Ferry Road and proceed approximately 0.7 mile to the roundabout at Hospital Drive.
