Because of the large number and many types of surgical procedures performed at East Cooper Medical Center, we developed the surgical services area at our new hospital with great attention to detail, focusing on the patient environment.
As a result, East Cooper has eight expansive operating rooms, each with state-of-the-art sterilization equipment and the latest high-definition (HD) technology for minimally invasive, laparoscopic surgeries. A LiveData System in the operating rooms provides the clearest picture of our patients' status, and four procedure suites offer additional space.
While patients are cared for by our experienced surgical teams, family and friends can wait comfortably in our surgical waiting area or visit our Cafe for a meal or snack prepared by our executive chef.
