East Cooper Medical Center Now Offering Upright Birthing Stool for Laboring Patients

Mount Pleasant, SC – October 2, 2018 – East Cooper Medical Center is proud to offer Comfortable Upright Birth (C.U.B.) stools for laboring patients.

The C.U.B. is a modern innovation of the traditional birth stool and the birth ball. Its design supports the mother in an upright position throughout labor and birth. Active position changes are facilitated and supported by the C.U.B. making upright positions including sitting, kneeling, all fours and squatting easier to achieve.
