East Cooper Medical Center Recognizes Ann Robinson, RN for Nurse Excellence

Ann Robinson with awardMount Pleasant, SC – January 25, 2019 – East Cooper Medical Center is proud to recognize Ann Robinson, RN as the newest Daisy RN Award Winner.

Robinson began her nursing career at East Cooper Medical Center in August 2013. She currently works as a nurse in the Progressive Care Unit.

Robinson was nominated for the award by a patient’s daughter. The nomination reads “Ann acted quickly twice in one day as my father’s blood pressure went dangerously low. Due to her quick actions, my father was stabilized. My father would have been lost if not for Nurse Ann. I can’t say enough about the caring and kind care my dad got while being a patient assigned to Ann Robinson. Her knowledge and quick actions are to be commended. Extraordinary work!”

Patrick Barnes, a cancer patient who lost his battle after a brief period of time. The family was so impressed with the care and compassion the staff showed Patrick, they stated a foundation to have a way to honor nurses who demonstrate clinical excellence in a caring and compassionate manor.
