Support Groups

Breastfeeding Support Group

  • Each Tuesday — 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
  • 1st Floor Classroom
  • A certified lactation consultant is available to offer support.
  • Registration is required. Please call our Lactation Office at 843-416-6327 to register. Registration must be completed by Sunday evening in order to attend support group on Tuesday.

Diabetic Education Group

  • Diabetes Education Group meetings are on hold through the end of 2020. If you are interested in receiving educational information via mail or email, please call 843-884-7031 or register online at

East Cooper Breast Cancer Support Group

  • This support group is cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19.
  • First Monday of each month — 6:30 p.m.
  • 4th Floor Classroom
  • Woman to woman support for those diagnosed with breast cancer.

Low Country Myasthenia Gravis (MG) Support Group

  • This support group is cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19.
  • Third Saturday of each month — 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • 1st Floor Classroom
  • Support group for patients, their families and caregivers. MG is an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder that causes varying degrees of muscle weakness and strikes without regard to age, gender or race.
