and highly trained staff to support each patient’s journey within rehabilitation therapy.
Ten spacious patient rooms with private toilet/shower
Rehab Gym will include some of the most modern therapy equipment available
Speech Therapy Room is a private room that has been engineered to reduce ambient sound
Dining and Rec Space to encourage interaction and patient independence
ADL bedroom/kitchen are two connected spaces that simulate the home environment

Why Choose East Cooper Medical Center?
The unit is designed for individuals that need intensive rehabilitation services along with specialized rehabilitative medical and nursing care.
We offer a full team of rehab focused clinicians including physicians, rehab registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, social work and case managers, as well as other ancillary support.
Patients will work with a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and will receive a minimum of three hours of therapy, five days per week.
We provide a specialized level of rehabilitation nursing care and require more frequent physician contact with patients.
