High-Risk Pregnancy Care

What is a High-Risk Pregnancy?

If you have a high-risk pregnancy, it means you require expert care and careful monitoring from physicians who specialize in high-risk pregnancies – known as maternal-fetal medicine specialists – to keep you and your baby safe.

Experience Counts

Our maternal fetal medicine specialists are experienced in managing a full range of high-risk pregnancies, from women with chronic health conditions to those facing urgent life-threatening complications.
We can help with high-risk pregnancies caused by:

  • Health conditions that exist before pregnancy, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease, among others
  • Previous pregnancy complications, such as preterm labor or preeclampsia
  • Fetal congenital anomalies
  • Multiple births
  • Conditions that develop during pregnancy, such as preeclampsia or eclampsia, morbidly adherent placenta (MAP), and placenta previa
  • Advanced maternal age
  • Vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)

Fertility

We understand that infertility can be a sensitive and private matter. According to the National Survey of Family Growth, nearly 1 in 8 couples have difficulty conceiving. It is also a financial matter that comes with it’s own set of risks of the unknown.

Our fertility specialists have helped thousands of patients realize their dreams of starting a family by providing and carefully explaining options. We provide compassionate patient care and individualized treatment plans with the most cost-efficient options, giving you every chance for a successful pregnancy.

Infertility is often addressed with non-invasive solutions. Often the most common problems, such as ovulation disorders or polycystic ovarian syndrome are solved with ovulation therapies.

We will ensure the most the most appropriate fertility treatment plan for you, whether it’s conservative or aggressive therapy.
